Geometry is constant. Drawing is unpredictable. When line begins to dictate form and follow curves of the body, the twist in logic manipulates two and three dimensions creating illusion.

Structure of geometric three-dimension is paired with irregular qualities of two-dimension. Transitions throughout each piece, from metal to thread, dictate the lines created. Each material used has distinct qualities that influence the overall appearance of every piece. Something beautiful and awkward happens at each transition point, where a hard edge meets a soft corner.

Always changing, this work never appears the same way twice. Thread drapes differently over the body, set on a table, hanging in the air, or held in my hands. Through form and material exploration, skewed geometry plays with the eye, mind and logic.
